Learning Alliance in the Philippines

The Philippine Rice Postharvest Learning Alliance (LA) was established during the Participatory Impact Pathway Analysis (PIPA) workshop held last April 2009.

The group shares a common vision of reducing postharvest losses and improving farmer’s income through promoting an efficient and effective postharvest system. Membership for this group is not fixed, hence promoting a flexible, multi-stakeholder platform wherein members and other interested stakeholders convene to exchange learning and work together to improve postharvest interventions.  Regualr meetings are organized to reflect on actions taken, capture the lessons learned, and incorporate it in the next cycle of activities to enhance what has been previously done.
