Learning alliance in Vietnam
In Vietnam, joint learning processes among different stakeholders started in 2008, through a project funded by the Asian Development Bank. The LA group in Vietnam continued to develop efficient postharvest technologies (Reversible Airflow Flatbed Dryer, Columnar Dryer, Combine Harvesters, and Rice Straw balers). Through the Learning Alliance platform, project stakeholders ensured proper technology transfer to other Asian countries, Cambodia and the Philippines, who shares the same goal: to reduce postharvest losses in rice. Currently, the Learning Alliance group operates through the CORIGAP project, funded by the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation. It works on different topics of interest: rice straw management, ecological indicators, and sustainability. Member agencies/institutions
